Assistant Estimation Manager

Job Overview

We are hiring an Assistant Estimation Manager to lead estimation and tendering activities for construction, infrastructure, and MEP projects. The role involves cost estimation, bid preparation, tender strategy, Oracle Fusion ERP utilization, commercial analysis, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical and commercial bid submissions.
  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual requirements.
  • Develop tender strategies and bid execution plans.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Analyze labour, material, equipment, subcontractor, logistics, preliminaries, and overhead costs.
  • Review supplier and subcontractor quotations and negotiate pricing.
  • Use Oracle Fusion ERP for project cost structures, estimate templates, budgets, and reporting.
  • Support variation pricing, claims preparation, and project handover.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Construction industry experience is required.
  • Oracle Fusion ERP experience is required.
  • Strong experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, tendering, and bid management.
  • Experience with Candy, PlanSwift, CostX, or similar estimation tools preferred.
  • PMP / CCP / CQS certification preferred.
  • English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
