Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer – MEP

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer specialized in MEP projects, with a strong background in project scheduling, progress tracking, and delay analysis. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess hands-on experience with large-scale MEP works in the UAE or GCC.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain detailed MEP project schedules using Primavera P6.

Develop baseline programs, monitor actual progress, and update schedules accordingly.

Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective actions or recovery strategies.

Coordinate with MEP engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and consultants.

Provide weekly/monthly reports, S-curves, and look-ahead programs.

Assist in resource planning, cost loading, and earned value management.

Ensure alignment with project milestones and client expectations.

Support tender and estimation teams with planning input and timelines.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)

Minimum 7 years of planning experience in the MEP industry, preferably in the UAE/GCC

Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel

Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical) and construction sequences

Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills

Knowledge of local authority procedures and standards is an advantage
