Job Description

He/she will be responsible for business development and sales of Digital Businesses comprising solutions in Software Applications, IOT, Robotics & Drones.

He/she will drive the Digital businesses selling the solutions in the Digital Business portfolio which includes among others CRM, HRMS, Project Management System, ERP, RPA, Document Management System, Digital Signature solutions, various IOT solutions, Robotics, AI etc. to Enterprise and Government Customers in UAE.

The incumbent will be required to initiate, devise, and make sales plans, budgets, monitor the business progress as per the target guidelines, ensure achieving sales target, gross margins targets in accordance with approved budgets. Partner management and engagement would be essential skills to perform the job effectively.

Job Content:

  1. Individual Contributor role responsible for sales and business development of Software Applications, IOT, Robotics & Drones solutions & services by developing relationships with key Stakeholders from the Enterprise and Government Segment.
  2. Achieve Orders, Invoicing, Margins & Collections as per the Budget/KRA
  3. Effective pipeline management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting & periodic review with Business Unit Head.
  4. Improvement of customer satisfaction through number of customer visits, market share per market segment, new customers / period etc.
  5. Prepare the most suitable and competitive offer along with/without pre-sales team to meet the needs of the customer in partnership with the principals and in accordance with Company’s policies on margins and profits.
  6. Generating leads, Preparation of RFP/Tender response, Queries & Bid closure.
  7. Build sustainable relationships with Customers
  8. Developing proper database on market information & competitors.
  9. Well organized, analytical, detail-oriented and quality-minded, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  10. Proven track record of planning sales pipeline, budgeting and forecasting leading to achievement of sales targets.
  11. Team player, with excellent oral & written communication, presentation skills and must be able to articulate technology & product positioning to both business & technical users.
  12. Strong interpersonal & leadership skills and ability to work with cross-functional departments
  13. Understanding internal business process, regulations and documentary compliances of the company.

Required profile and experience:

  1. Graduate, preferably engineering, with a business management degree and exposed to latest technology and trends in the digital business domain.
  2. Sales and Business Development experience of at least 6 to 10 years in the Software Applications / SAAS / IAAS, IOT and Robotics businesses selling to business and technology stakeholders interacting with key decision makers and senior management
  3. Should have worked in a company established in similar business, in a similar position with strong experience in selling to Healthcare, Government and Banking and Financial Services segment.
  4. Preferably should have five to six years’ experience working in the GCC (but not mandatory) with thorough knowledge of the Enterprise Applications industry, with specific reference to Cloud and SAAS offerings
  5. Preparation of RFP/Tender response, Queries & Bid closure with highly developed skills in project estimation and project management.
