We’re Hiring: Accountant (Construction / Fit-out / Joinery)
Location: DIP, Dubai
Employment Type: Full-time
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting specific to construction, fit-out, joinery, or woodwork projects, and will be responsible for managing project-related financials, invoicing, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue project invoices (advance, progress, and retention).
Track project expenses, payments, and cash flow.
Maintain accurate Statements of Account for clients and suppliers.
Coordinate with procurement to generate Purchase Orders.
Monitor and prepare cash flow forecasts.
Handle payment follow-ups and collections.
Maintain inventory control, documenting all incoming and outgoing materials.
Support monthly reporting, audits, and compliance.
Assist with financial documentation for project handovers or certifications.
Requirements:
Proven accounting experience in the joinery, fit-out, or construction industry.
Strong understanding of project-based accounting, retention rules, and payment terms.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Tally, or Zoho).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
