Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate mechanical works for MEP projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical systems installation and supervision within an electromechanical environment. Responsibilities include managing site teams, ensuring work quality and safety, coordinating with other disciplines, and supporting project delivery within time and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.) at project sites.

• Ensure all mechanical works are executed according to project specifications, approved drawings, and standards.

• Manage site manpower and assign daily tasks to technicians and subcontractors.

• Monitor progress and provide daily/weekly reports to the project manager or engineer.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance.

• Coordinate with electrical and civil teams to resolve site issues and ensure smooth workflow.

• Assist in material planning, requisition, and handling at the site.

• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

• Attend site meetings and liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients when required.

• Ensure tools, equipment, and machinery are properly maintained and used safely.

• Maintain documentation and records for inspections, tests, and daily activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical site supervision within the MEP or Electromechanical field.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.

• Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and layouts.

• Good leadership and team management skills.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

• Valid Driving License is preferred for mobility between project sites.

Preferred Experience:

• Work experience in MEP contracting companies or construction projects.

• Exposure to commercial, residential, or industrial building projects.

• Understanding of local regulations, safety standards, and quality procedures.
