Job Title: Storekeeper

Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory and ensure efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials or products. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in store operations, strong attention to detail, and a good understanding of inventory control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming materials or products to ensure accuracy and quality.

Maintain proper storage of items to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration.

Issue materials to departments or project teams based on approved requests.

Keep accurate records of stock movements, inventory levels, and transactions.

Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.

Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and security of the store area at all times.

Label and organize inventory for easy identification and retrieval.

Coordinate with procurement and other departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports as required.

Handle documentation such as delivery notes, goods receipt notes, and material request forms.
Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or any Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a storekeeping or warehouse role.

Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word).

Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Physically fit and capable of handling warehouse activities.
Preferred Experience:

Experience in managing materials in a construction, engineering, or industrial environment.

Basic knowledge of safety and handling procedures.

Exposure to ERP or warehouse management systems is a plus.
