Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales & Estimation Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering and experience in Electromechanical systems (MEP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing technical sales activities, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role involves site visits, project coordination, and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimations and quotations for electromechanical (MEP) projects.

• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs to develop competitive and accurate pricing.

• Conduct site visits and client meetings to gather project requirements and technical data.

• Support the sales team in preparing technical proposals and presentations.

• Review project tender documents and identify risk factors.

• Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure accurate costing and availability of materials.

• Engage with clients to clarify technical and commercial requirements.

• Negotiate contract terms and manage pre- and post-sales support.

• Track market trends, competitor pricing, and client feedback to improve estimation strategy.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project-specific requirements.

• Maintain a database of historical project costs and supplier quotations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the MEP or Electromechanical industry.

• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in building services or industrial projects.

• Proficient in using estimation software, AutoCAD, MS Office (especially Excel), and other relevant tools.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites and client locations.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in MEP contracting, construction, or building services.

• Familiarity with tendering procedures and local regulatory requirements.

• Experience in dealing with consultants, contractors, and end clients.
